The food here was excellent. The service was outstanding. I had the shrimp linguine and my husband had the ribs. All was delicious and homemade. Will definitely return here for a meal.

We had a great lunch. Our waitress was a sweetheart. It was our first experience at Abigail's but won't be our last.

"I've been treated to some really..."

4 of 5 stars

I've been treated to some really special ambiance in alot of places - like glass booths that change color at Morimoto's, blazing fires, fancy fountains...right up there with these experiences is the comforting mood and feeling created by the friendly faces and generous food at Abigail's. The building and chairs have stayed comfortable over time, and the staff is so well installed and beloved they have bio's on their website. Read those before you arrive & you will be treated to their personalities even more when you walk through the door. Our incredible wings were made by none other than the Wing King himself; the owner greeted us; and recognizable faces circulate the room, refilling the salad bar and fulfilling every wish. We had fresh innovative food (salmon with spicy Asian slaw, housemade stuffed haddock) and loved the salad bar, brimming with homemade salads and fresh ingredients for make your own. You will not find glitz or fanfare at Abigail's but you will get a real neighborhood feel and be welcomed as one of the locals even if you are not. Many options for kids and vegetarians. Old favorites and interesting new items are side by side on their extensive menu. SO glad my friend referred me here! Stop by Sauder's store while you are in the area, not to be missed.

“Always A Good Meal with Great Service”
5 of 5 stars

Visited Abigail's on a Friday night.  On Friday they always have a special salad bar with lots of choices, including hot appetizers and soup.  They had a 16 oz Prime Rib special.  Both of us ordered it; if anything it was larger than 16 ounces.  Good taste, cooked as ordered, excellent service.

“Quiet Tuesday evening, but good food and service”
4 of 5 stars

Stopped in for dinner while in town for business this week. While almost empty, I enjoyed the quiet, along with excellent service and very good food (pasta with pesto sauce and chicken).

"Great service, good food”

We really enjoyed this restaurant. The medium hot wings had a delicious house made sauce....very fresh tasting and unique!! I have gluten sensitivity and the server was great about checking with the chef to be sure everything I ate was safe! Definitely recommend the ribs!!

“Wonderful food ...service...exceptional attention to customers”

"After a long day of setting up weddings floral and decor at Wagner Vineyard we needed to find a place to eat on the way home. Since we are from Oneida we had no idea about dining in area. We chose Abigail's ...my daughter and I ordered burgers..fresh...handmade...cooked to order and dressed anyway you want them. This is not a difficult dish but you would be surprised how many times a known burger place can't get it right. The waitress was very attentive. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Also I accidentally left our customers flower order at restaurant and did not realize it until we were traveling down the thruway. I called and spoke with the owner...explained what happened and even offered money for her to send to us. To my surprise she said that is not necessary. That is rare in today's world of self-center-ness. We received it on Tuesday mailed first class. Thank you for being first class we appreciate your exceptional customer service well after we left you establishment. We highly recommend Abigail's ...hope to stop in again...thank you."

"This place seems to have become our traditional gathering spot for dinner the night before the Seneca7 relay race. The past two years we've stayed at the Microtel next door and eaten here. Nice salad bar. Good food. Good service. Reasonable prices.

"I would like to thank you for your service. The food was outstanding and the service was even better, thanks to our waitress Melissa. We decided to have a work Christmas party and we decided on your restaurant, and I'm happy to say we will be returning soon. Thank you from the Columbia Sportswear team from waterloo."

---- MattS (large)"I suppose I had a different type of experience than most folks. While in town to celebrate my grandmother's 80th birthday, the family held a surprise party for her at Abigail's. We showed up and they had reserved a very large section for us and we pulled off a great surprise. The staff then set up a great buffet bar while we hit the bar for some drinks - nothing makes me happier than when I see Sam Adams on draft! After exchanging handshakes, we all hit the buffet. We had a nice selection of salad, pasta salad, bread, veggies, pasta with meatballs, and chicken. This food was delicious! I loved the pasta and meatballs - sauce was outstanding, but EVERYBODY was raving about the chicken, and I mean everyone. I heard so many compliments on how delicious and tender and juicy it was, they had to refill it a few times. The service was also excellent - including the chef who took time to talk to folks in the restaurant. Overall, we all had a great experience, so thanks to the entire staff. They could definitely use an upgrade in the decor, but the food was delicious and service great, which makes me want to come back."

"When another restaurant at which we had planned to eat closed unexpectedly early, Abigail's, which had been only so-so a couple years ago, was our desperation substitute... result: one delightful afternoon on a slow day with pork chop, angel hail pasta with spinach, chicken parm, a pizzaburger for the kid and the day's special, reasonably priced and scrumptious crab-stuffed haddock, $11.99... biggest hits were the angel hair, with which the spinach was almost just-picked fresh, and the juicy, huge pork chops, enough for two meals, which they in fact did... modest but well-stocked salad bar and a nice regular bar as well, dishing out generous yuenglngs... nice service, too, in all, a warm winter respite "
